“DigiBoard TV has been a great addition at the church.“
In our main entry, we use televisions running DigiBoard TV to greet those entering the building. To be relevant to our different programs, we have DigiBoard TV automatically change the content on those televisions at different times during the week. We use a television with DigiBoard TV in our coffee bar to display the time, temperature, a list of coffees, and prices.
In our youth department, we use DigiBoard TV on a large television where we show videos of children’s activities such as obstacles courses, Christmas programs, and large-scale youth events. Updated videos are put on the large television in the youth section each week. The children love to check the television to see if they can find themselves and their friends on the big screen.
We use another television with DigiBoard TV in our library. This features the latest books and clips from videos. This has increased book and video circulation!
An entry foyer wall has another large television running DigiBoard TV. We use that television to feature the missionaries we support. The television plays video clips showing our missionaries in the field where they work. The lower-thirds of the screen describe their work. This has led to many more people learning about the missionaries we support.
We run four DigiBoard TV televisions in portrait format in the hall of our main entrance. One television is dedicated to telling our mission with text and video. Another is dedicated to weekly announcements. A third is videos of things happening in the church. A fourth tells the stories of lives changed by Jesus. Telling those stories on video with an explanation on the bottom of the screen is encouraging for everyone.
Being able to use shared Dropbox folders and have video and photos added to screens by others, is a great time saver. Allowing administrative assistants to add fresh content to the screens distributes the workload of updating our 11 screens.
Another great feature is Livestreaming. At the time worship services begin, strategic televisions in the building automatically switch to a live stream of the service. When the time for the worship service is over, DigiBoard TV automatically switches back to the regularly scheduled program.
The DigiBoard TV program comes with numerous templates to make the content look great. Side-by-side content, the time, weather data, logos, and lower-thirds are all possible with DigiBoard TV. Controlling everything from the convenience of your phone is also a great idea.
Lastly, I want to highlight the price. The developer’s model of a flat price per user and not increasing the monthly costs as you add more televisions is a great pricing plan. I hope many people discover this great app and use it to better connect with their audience!
