I get an error clicking on the email verification link

This will occur if you click on the link on a desktop computer. You need to tap on the link on the iPhone/iPad you are trying to sign in on.

There are some rare cases where this will happen on the iPhone/iPad. Here are a few things to try to resolve this issue:

  1. Reboot your device and tap the link in the email again.

  2. Try reinstalling the DigiBoard Remote app and tap the link.

  3. Copy the link from email (press and hold on the link and select copy), then paste into your Notes app and hit Done. Then try tapping the link in the notes app.

How do I connect my Apple TV?

  1. To set up your Apple TV, first download the DigiBoard TV app from the Apple App Store.

  2. Launch the app.

  3. Download the DigiBoard Remote app from the Apple App Store on your iPhone or iPad.

  4. Sign in to DigiBoard using your email, you will get an email from DigiBoard with a link that will tie your app to your account after you complete your registration (just your name for our records). If you don’t see the email, check your junk folder. We will not share or distribute any of your personal information with anyone outside of the DigiBoard team.

  5. Tap on the “Add New TV” option to bring up the DigiBoard scanner.

  6. Point your phone at your Apple TV so the QR code is visible on the screen.

What are “Presentations”?

A presentation is what is displayed on your TV at any particular moment. Each TV has a “Fallback” presentation which is scheduled to run any time other presentations are not running.

Each presentation has a name, scheduled time to run, a template, and a preview. Depending on the template, different content options are shown which you can modify. The different types of content available are:

  • Slideshow Content, this is a series of one or more images to be shown in the slideshow area of the template. You can point your DigiBoard TV at either a folder of images in your Dropbox account (DigiBoard is restricted to items you place under the Apps->DigiBoard TV-> folder), or an album in your Photos account.

  • Slideshow Content, this is a series of one or more images to be shown in the slideshow area of the template.   • Logo, an image you can upload from your phone or Dropbox account.

  • Location for weather forecasts. Select either “Current Location” or type in a city.

  • Text for templates that have one or more text fields.

  • Social Media. For Social Media based templates, you can add one or more accounts or search terms. DigiBoard TV will show current postings that include both images and text.

How do I add another presentation?

After selecting the TV at the top level, select the “Edit” button in the upper right of your screen. This will allow you to manage all your presentations. Options when editing this list are:

  1. Adding a new presentation by selecting the “New Presentation” item at the bottom of the list

  2. Choosing an existing presentation by tapping the presentation in the list (you can select/deselect presentations to share among all your TVs

  3. Deleting a presentation by tapping the delete button of the presentation you want to delete. Deleting a presentation will make it unavailable to all TVs

How do I release the Apple TV?

To free up your Apple TV to be used by someone else, select the Apple TV in the Remote app and tap the “Edit” button in the upper right. A “Delete TV” button will appear at the bottom.

My photos aren’t showing up from my iCloud Photos library

Sometimes Apple TV can take some time to sync photos to its internal library. You can make sure that your Apple TV is configured properly by launching the Photos app on Apple TV to verify you are signed into your iCloud Account, iCloud Photos is enabled and your content is visible in the Photos app..

If you have a lot of photos in your iCloud Photos library, the time needed to sync up the entire library can take hours! In this case you may be interested in signing up for a free Dropbox account. Syncing performance between DigiBoard and Dropbox can end up being more efficient.
