Setting iPad Kiosk Mode

When running DigiBoard TV on an iPad, you can put the iPad in a Kiosk or single app mode to prevent users from exiting the app. Unlike using an external app to do this for Apple TV, there are built in settings in iOS to turn this on.

Settings App

Steps iOS 12:

1. Open the Settings app and select:
   General > Accessibility > Guided Access

2. Turn on Guided Access

3. Enable “Mirror Display Auto-Lock”

4. Select Display & Brightness and set Auto-Lock to “Never”

Steps iOS > 12:

1. Open the Settings app and select:
   Accessibility > Guided Access

2. Turn on Guided Access

3. Set “Display Auto-Lock” to Never

DigiBoard TV App

Launch the DIgiBoard TV app and triple click on home button to enable Guided Access. On iPads with no home button, triple click the side button.
